During the course of the year 2009 The Slot Academy in cooperation with the 'Asociación Española de Casinos de Juego' (the Spanish Casino Association) will organize a number of two-day seminars on location in Spain. During the two day seminars topics from the training program of The Slot Academy will be presented. The seminars will be executed in English with Spanish translation. After the succesful courses in 2008 and 2009, The Slot Academy has decided to host two more courses in Budapest in 2010. The first course in 2010 will be in the middle of April (BOOK IT now) and the second course will be in October or November (dates will be posted before the summer of 2010)
The unique central European location, which can be reached easily from around the world, combines beautiful architecture and a rich history with plentiful opportunities for entertainment.
The Hotel in which the training takes place is situated on the banks of the River Danube on walking distance from a number of beautiful historical places in Budapest.

During the eight day training, participants will be introduced to Principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) applied to operating Slot Machines in dedicated gaming locations.
Participants to the course will receive a certificate from The Slot Academy AND a certificate from the University of Nevada. The University Certificate is part of the Gaming Management Series of the University of Nevada, an internationally acclaimed institute for Gaming Management education.

Video Lottery Terminal (Comma 6B) Management
SCOPE:
During the eight day training, participants will be introduced to Principles of Total Quality Management (TQM) applied to operating Video Lottery Terminals (VLT's) in dedicated gaming locations in Italy.
Participants to the course will receive a certificate from The Slot Academy AND a certificate from the University of Nevada. The University Certificate is part of the Gaming Management Series of the University of Nevada, an internationally acclaimed institute for Gaming Management education.
Participant Profile:
Participants to the course are those who wish to be employed in VLT locations in Italy.
Participants from Italy who would like to work in the Gaming Industry in Italy should have knowledge of the English language and are willing to work shifts and weekends. The majority of participants will have a technical background. They will submit their C.V. prior to the course and will be subject to an intake interview. The Slot Academy will select participants to the course based on their application and intake interview. Participants have to pay a non-redeemable fee to participate in the program.
The training is suitable for people who would like to be employed in The Gaming Industry in Italy in any of the following positions:
- Technical Manager
- VLT Engineer
- VLT Installation Technician
- Location Manager
- VLT Attendant / Guest Relations Officer
Training dates and program:
The training will be executed on location in Rome, starting Monday November 30 at 10:00 and ending Saturday December 5 at 17:00.
On training dates (except Monday November 30) the program commences at 09:00 and finished at 21:00 (except Saturday December 5). There is a 30 minutes coffee break during the morning session and a 30 minutes coffee break during the afternoon session.
On the last day of the training, participants have to complete a test.
The course will take place in the English Language with simultaneous translation into the Italian Language. Participants are required to have basic English skills as the training materials are in the English language.
